Deutsch Vettel genwinnt! F1 Malaysia

Is Sebastian Vettel  “unaufhaltsam”? It would seem so. The rain held off in the closing laps as it became a battle between the German and the Brit Jenson Button and Nick Heidfeld finishing third. It came down in the last remaining laps and the Perilli PZero’s. You can lay rubber, burn rubber, rip rubber, smoke that rubber, but in hot humid Grand Prix F1 in Malaysia, you better preserve that rubber. The Perilli’s again performed well and Vettel what can one say! ” I love what I do and I don’t think I could be happier at this stage”.The battle has only just begun and your strapped  with MY NAME IS KHAN where it’s not about the money, money, the ka-chang, ka-chang, or the price tag, it’s just about the passion for adventure and discovery.

F1 Malaysia Countdown MY NAME IS KHAN

It’s countdown to showtime at the hot humid Sepang International Circuit, in Malaysia. Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel will start of the race Sunday in pole position, followed by Lewis Hamilton, his team mate Mark Webber, Jenson Button, Lewis Hamilton’s team mate and Fernando Alonso in fifth spot. The gird girls are ready, as are the girls of Pirelli. If did not give Jenson Button enough thrills he will head off to Hawaii to compete in the grueling, demanding, Hawaiian Triathlon. COME ON MAN!! the torque is not enough for Jenson he needs the 1.5km swim, 40km bike ride, and a 10km run. “I’m really excited about this weekend. It’s going to be good,, and great to do it in this humidity as well” Jenson said about the race in Malaysia. I like Jenson and have had some good time with his father and have met all his sisters. But come on man!!! what next Tour de France? Jenson has completed the London triathlon twice. Now fight with Bull’s mate!

F1 Pirelli and the curves of Malaysia

A friend of mine co-wrote a film that she also directed. She sat me down to watch the film in which she had cast a young girl who caught my eye. I asked my friend, “who’s that girl?”, she informed me it was a young actor by the name of Keira Knightley, “well she’s going to be a star”, I said. Karl Lagerfeld the creative force behind the House of Chanel also saw the star in Keira bringing her to the House of Chanel. Kiera’s body can be like the circuit itself, long straights, with challenging curves glistening with sweat beads that could make the driver surrender his focus. This year Karl Lagerfeld was behind the lens shooting the Pirelli calender. If your negotiating dangerous curves, the rubber better hold. It all comes down to how you take those curves, that will determine how fast you rip through the Pirelli tyres. Today another key critical element of racing was being drilled. The pit crews tyre change. It’s hot, humid, ideal conditions for where a a drop of rain could form a river. The focus remains today on Pirelli and the tyre change. Karl Lagerfeld, Keira Knightley, the  pit crews and Pirelli offer us that exotic fascination with the adventure of discovery of F1 on MY NAME IS KHAN.

F1 Malaysia Bravo Pirelli!

Nature, it’s a force with which there is no contest. But we try. Malaysia’s F1 Sepang circuit will present the teams and drivers with endless options for consideration. Similar to those faced by the enchanting women who sashay down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California. The options are unlimited. The tyre is a critical element of any racing. While the Pirelli PZero had a stunning debut in Australia it is only starting it’s roadshow with F1. Malaysia is hot and humid, the tracks surface is unyielding, it has twists, turns, heavy break areas, straights offering the driver variable speeds to explore all a challenge for the Pirelli tyre. Then there is nature itself, which can throw a variety of elements all of its own.

Malaysia is also where the elephants roam in their limited domain. Bravo to Pirelli for doing this photo shoot with my favorite animal and the bewitching women of Pirelli.

MY NAME IS KHAN-Vittel Wins Australia F1!

The Australians really know how to put on a great show. Today was no exception, this F1 race had it all, the crash, the rain, the eye candy, all the elements required in order to not have a boring affair.  The Australian I know never have a boring time and Melbourne, Australian F1 was anything but. The paddocks had the usual smell of light perfume and drab industrial stench, with a hint of smoke, and stale air. The grid girls with exquisitely sculpted legs, glowing with almond oil walked off the track and in a blink all mayhem had broken out.

Sebastian Vettel’s Red Bull starting for pole position rapidly and mechanically maintained his lead over McLarens’s Lewis Hamilton by 2 seconds in the first lap and never was in danger of loosing his lead.  The big surprise was the Russian Vitaly Petrov in the Renault finishing third his first podium finish, who drove a strong race. Lewis Hamilton was positive of the teams efforts in his second place finish. ” A week or two ago we were not expecting to be anywhere near the top five.” Fernando Alonso finished fourth followed by Australian Mark Webber. F1 in Australia brings with it the grace, the speed, the danger while nearby fifteen feet wall of water brings its own danger to the awaiting surfer. The drivers in their racing suits sheathed slick as seals, while the surfer appear like half-wave, half-man, the drivers become half-man, half-machine, grafted it seems. The pressure is constant, torque tugging at each limb for both the driver and the surfer. This was Melbourne, Australia. “This is just a taste of what is yet to come as MY NAME IS KHAN takes you for the adventure of discovery.
