Catherine MacKenzie ‘Photographer of the Year’ rocking Photography in Northern Ireland

It is the 50th Anniversary of ‘Sound of Music’ tomorrow, but for the talented photographer of Northern Ireland the sound of music arrived early.  Catherine Mackenzie is an amazing talent, and  The Professional Photographer Association of Northern Ireland seems to think so as well.  Last night Catherine was not only awarded the ‘Fashion Photographer of the Year’ but many more honours were bestowed upon her.  Follow her on her Twitter and Facebook and keep up with this amazing talent who knows how to tell a story with her lens.  What is she feeling like after last night?  In her own words.

I really don’t know where to start!!!
I think I’m still floating to be honest.
I am so privileged to be part of the amazing society that is the professional photographic association of northern Ireland. PPANI
Last night I won fashion photographer of the year thanks to Karen Harkin from Harkins Hair Strabane.
Commercial photographer of the year thanks to Bejewelled Strabane. Portrait photographer of the year again thank you to Jude Harkin and Karen Harkin. Licentiate photographer of the year, creative photographer of the year and overall photographer of the year.
I have so many people to thank I don’t know where to start.
