Gucci Models Retreat – Milan to Amalfi !

Heavy Weight contender the Italian fashion brand Gucci flexed it’s muscles for their spring summer 2012 collection summoning countless models to Milan causing havoc at London Fashion Week. Several models got pulled at the last minute, and anyone in film production, or fashion knows what that can spell. Several models arrived in London late after the Marc  Jacobs New York show which ran late with models unable to make the last flight back to London and had to be pulled.  This can be anyone worst nightmare. Marc Jacobs holding rights till the last minute prevented several models from leaving in case they were cast. Then for London came the bomb Saturday with Gucci calling for pre-casting for the show tomorrow, several models had few options remaining but to head off to Milan and get back to London for Monday. New York and Milan call the shots in fashion, it’s where the money is. So what happens in London?  It’s not as if London has not fielded bombs before and they have managed quite well.  So what about those girls who walk the catwalk.  Here is what I would tell them.  Do your shows, New York, hit London, finish off the Gucci show in Milan then go straight to Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi, where you can simply catch up, relax, have a great view and then have the pleasure of  consuming the exotic foods prepared by the team of Chef  Alberto Annarumma.

In-fact I suggest that everyone after the Gucci spring summer show 2012 and London Fashion Week unite in Amalfi, the word “Convento”, should be enough to pull you there.  I can tell you eat all you want, you will want to. So you catwalk killers needing a rest, a tranquil oasis awaits, tell them Hollywood sent you and who know what pleasant surprise awaits at Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi.  There is always the time to replenish your body, after all it’s what make you the money.  Pray, eat, love with My Name is Khan where the adventure of discovery never stops.
