Golden eye of François-Henri for Brioni!


I put on my Brioni suite slipped into my red Puma’s and jumped onto my Union Jack sofa for a photo shoot. What can I say! there is nothing like a Brioni suite. Any women will tell you it’s not the dress but the manner in which the dress falls that makes you look good. A Brioni suite is art, the manner that the lapels sit, shoulders define, and the jacket falls. The £3,000 pound suite for Bond, “James Bond 007”, goes to hell and back and yet it looks good, granted it has about ten staff members on the set looking after it. Nevertheless there was a time one jumped on the Concorde from JFK, landed in London did a few meeting’s and got back for dinner in New York and all one needed was a Brioni suite. 007 is style personified, and that can be summed up in the brand Brioni. François-Henri Pinault of PPR Luxury Group is eying Brioni, and many are asking is this a good move. In my opinion it would be a fantastic! move, and François-Henri Pinault has a golden eye! The emerging markets of India, China, and Brazil are growth markets for the brand, which has legs to grow and I like PPR as a company that can respond trés rapide. While in the case of one LVMH company they are still wondering “Quelle heure est-il?”, I will let you guess which company that might be. In this age leadership must translates throughout and at PPR it all works. The man with the golden eye in Paris may also be the man that ends up with the golden gun. Let the games begin. Brioni it’s good for James Bond 007, François-Henri Pinault and My Name is Khan.
