Faster Then A Speeding Bullet ! Lewis Hamilton

The Olympic torch has been lit and the man from the Island of Great Britain Lewis Hamilton did not disappoint.

Team McLaren is in a sport of Formula One racing and this season defined by its competitiveness, with hundredths of seconds and the tiniest of margins dictating an unprecedented seven different winners in the first seven races, Hamilton’s 0.38sec pole position margin over Frenchman Romain Grosjean, who starts on the front row for the first time, is a chasm.

“I’m very happy with the work the guys have done, It’s a good boost for the team but it’s a long race and we need to keep our cool. Tyres will be important and the degradation interesting and I hope that, for once, we have a good start.” – Lewis Hamilton

Sunday will be the second day of the Olympics in London and what a day it would be if McLaren in it’s 150th Pole position was to bring in the gold. How sweet it would be to all in the Kingdom where the Queen can give you the licence to kill.

A twitter follower of mine sent this to me today;

‏@lauyluz @MYNAMEISKHANcdn @LewisHamilton Im pretty sure that he will win tomm! The spirit of #MuhammedAli be with him! 150 pole! He deserves it 🙂

Yes, it’s true Lewis Hamilton has those qualities of Ali, he will never give up, never stop trying, if he falls he will get back up, and like the champ Muhammad Ali who I have had the great honor to lunch with is a very nice man.

Who say’s nice guys don’t finish first. Lewis Hamilton all of Montreal was rooting for you where you are King.

Laura Hunt “The Artist” with a brush knows it’s in the eyes!

The Grammy’s, and then the biggest red carpet event coming up the Oscars not to mention one of the biggest parties in London this year the summer Olympics. The Artist is a film nominated for 10 Oscars, a tribute to artist’s all over the world. Here is London,UK make up artist Laura Hunt who creates her art with her magic wand, as she transforms looks with make-up. While photographers do their magic, it is the make up artist who set’s the mood captured in every frame of film. Here is an interview with Laura Hunt.

What inspired you to do what you do?

I always loved make-up and would always practice on my friends growing up. I always loved experimenting with colours and different products. When I was a teenager, I met an established MUA, who made me realise that you could have a career in it. I also had an old school friend that became a MUA and saw it was achievable.

When I looked into the art form more closely, discovering artists like Pat McGrath & Alex Box, inspired me massively. They’re creativity and raw talent blew me away (and still does). I saw Alex do a demonstration at IMATS London 2010 and her work was breathtaking! I was mesmerised the whole time watching her work her magic. Absolutely amazing!

I like looking at art for inspiration and often will go to a gallery on a spare day. Inspiration can come from textures, colours, art works and the environment around us.

I’ve also always wanted to work for myself and I love working with people from all walks of life. I love meeting new people and this job definitely allows me to do so.

Is there one person that really stands out in your mind that you had a great time working with? photographer, model, etc, anything or experience.
I have met so many great people through make-up but one person I work really well with is super talented hair stylist, Eugene Davies. I think we just click creatively and he is a joy to work with!

However, every job I do makes me realise how much I love what I do – there’s no place I’m happier than when I’m doing make-up.

What are some of your other interests?
It’s probably not a surprise that as well as having a huge love for make-up, that I love fashion and music too! I like playing with the sewing machine, making bits and pieces. However, I love cooking and using my creativity in the kitchen! Absolutely adore making culinary creations and seeing people enjoy it! I once wanted to be a chef when I was younger but I’m glad I’ve taken the route I have – kitchens are far too stressful!

Laura creating magic in the land of magic where dreams come true.
