Discover First Time Filmmakers Khushboo Ranka and Vinay Shukla of ‘An Insignificant Man’ – TIFF16

Do you remember all those Apple commercials ‘The Power of One’? It only take one person to start the process of change, one person who will not accept things as they are, one person who says enough I am going to change the way things are so many can benefit. The power of one.

If you happen to be at the Toronto International Film Festival then you will find the power of one in a documentary film “An Insignificant Man” which will have it’s world premier at the film festival.

The film is about Arvind Kejriwal who is fed up with rampant corruption in Indian politics, and decided to shake things up and challenge the status quo by forming the Aam Aadmi Party (Common Man’s Party, or AAP) in 2012.

First time filmmakers Khushboo Ranka and Vinay Shukla spent four years in the making of this film with cameras always rolling.

I myself will not be able to see the film till the 13th (and I can’t wait to see it and report back) but here at TIFF you can find all the times it is playing.
