Despite Fernando Alonso winning the Malaysian Grand Prix in March, the Italian outfit have endured a difficult start to 2012 with aerodynamic issues resulting in the car being a second off the pace in normal conditions.
Alonso ended up ninth on the grid for today’s Bahrain Grand Prix while team-mate Felipe Massa qualified 14th – almost a second and a half slower than pole-sitter Sebastian Vettel in the Red Bull.
However we have heavy dark clouds, and there is a 40% chance of rain. Ferrari told Alonso to go easy yesterday in qualifying to preserve the option for tires today. Will this strategy come into play? With less then an hour way we will have to see.
Here is the action. Right Now. My Name is Khan team will try to get as many good shots from the team and live stream these, so keep watching. Rain or no Rain in Bahrain!!
