George Clooney has set the town on fire. At Tiff it is always more fun when you have your friends around. George Clooney has his buddy Brat Pitt in town as well and that is almost like being on the roof of Hotel du Russie in Rome playing table tennis while filming Ocean’s Twelve or not being allowed into the Hotel when the door man mistook Brad and George for vagrants after they had been caught in a rain storm. That was not about to happen at Tiff. George Clooney and my paths keep crossing, from the Vanity Fair shoot on the back lot of Universal to Il Gatto Nero in Cernobbio, Italy to Hotel du Russie and Jerry Wientraub who Produced the Ocean’s films. At Tiff George was showing his film The Ides of March which he co-wrote as well as directed. Leonardo DiCaprio was cast in the lead but dropped out yet remained on as Executive Producer and Brad Pitt was cast as Paul Zara but was replaced by Philip Seymour Hoffman.

Belong Cafe, was also getting into full swing, for anyone wanting a good meal, and should any Hollywood types such as George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Paul Giamatti drop in for dinner they were not going to be disappointed by what Chef Brad Long team was cooking up at Cafe Belong.
