Little Nicky’s coffee shop is where one can find donuts being made to the rhythm of Bollywood film My Name is Khan’s song Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Toronto a few months ago hosted the IIFA awards when all of Bollywood who’s who descended upon Toronto. It is also home to Bollywood Canadian Star Lisa Ray, a women who lives life on her terms, such as those you will find at Little Nicky’s, who march to their own beat Bollywood style. I am not much for those boring corporate, devoid of any personality coffee shop’s, who would not have the time to make you fresh donuts. In a few weeks the film world of Hollywood will swoop down on Toronto, and writers, producers, directors and Hollywood star’s, take Hollywood’s advise, seek out Little Nicky’s, and enjoy the coffee, and the donuts. This is a delightfully eccentric place for those in the know. I know it’s the film festival, and attention is power, attention is money, you give it, take it, and loose it, if you are a Hollywood actor, but when you hit town be like a Hollywood producer and smooth operator, the only one’s in LA not repelled by an intellectual and call the hotel concierge and tell them “get me those tiny fresh donuts from Little Nicky’s”. Better yet go get them and you will feel like you are on Melrose. The adventure for Bollywood, Hollywood, and My Name is Khan never stops.
